Be a part of the growth…make a difference! The Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund Board (ATRF) is seeking an Associate, Private Investments to join our growing Private Investments team. Located in Edmonton, Alberta this exciting role represents a unique opportunity to help build and manage a portfolio of private investments. ATRF is one of Canada's most dynamic and fastest-growing pension funds, where our assets under management are projected to more than double over the next decade.
Reporting to the Senior Principal of Private Investments, the Associate will assist with all aspects of the evaluation of potential private investment opportunities for both principal and fund investments including, but not limited to, conducting research, assisting in developing investment recommendations, financial modeling and deal analysis. The Associate position will also perform monitoring, benchmarking and performance measurement of the private investment portfolios.
The successful candidate for this role will have experience with infrastructure and/or private equity investing, possess strong research, analytical and problem solving skills while demonstrating strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Applicants will possess a Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting degree with a minimum of 3 years' of applicable experience, including specific experience in infrastructure, private equity, corporate development or investment banking.
