Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund (ATRF) is seeking a Director, People Strategy to join our dynamic, team-oriented organization located in Edmonton, Alberta.
Reporting to the VP, Corporate Services the Director, People Strategy will support the CEO and ATRF executive management by delivering the strategic HR solutions necessary to support ATRF business strategy. The position will oversee the development, delivery and evaluation of ATRF wide initiatives that reinforce a strong and engaged workforce.
Key areas of accountability include establishing, implementing and maintaining the ATRF People Strategy framework including talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and performance excellence. The Director, People Strategy will maintain strong relationships across the organization and advance an integrated approach to people strategy. The successful applicant will have 10 to 15 years HR leadership and corporate experience, and hold a CPHR designation. They will demonstrate ability to work with multiple senior/executive management stakeholders, consulting skills and ability to influence department leaders, and efficiency in dealing with both individuals and groups at full range of levels on a variety of work related issues. Exceptional communication skills, strong analytical and strategic skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy are key requirements.
