The Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund (ATRF) is seeking an Investment Finance Analyst for the Private Markets and Public Markets areas within the Investment Finance team. ATRF, located in Edmonton Alberta, is one of Canada's most dynamic and fastest-growing pension funds, where assets under management are projected to more than double over the next decade.
The Investment Finance Analyst – Private Markets is responsible to the Manager, Investment Finance and provides services that relate primarily to the administration of ATRF's private market assets. Areas of responsibility include accurate and timely executions of all administrative functions for private investments including private equity, infrastructure, and real estate. These functions include but are not limited to processing and recording of capital calls, distributions, hedges, fee calculations and oversight of performance and risk reporting. The Investment Finance Analyst – Public Markets is responsible to the Manager, Investment Finance and provides services that relate primarily to the administration of ATRF's public market assets. Areas of responsibility within this function include fulfilling all settlement, pricing and reporting requirements for publically traded assets, hedge funds and OTC derivatives. Applicants will possess a Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting degree with one to three years' of applicable experience, including specific experience in investments. Preference will be given to those who possess or are pursuing additional post-secondary education such as a CFA, CAIA or CA designation.
