Confirmation Letters

To protect your fund's assets, ATRF has a confirmation procedure to ensure ATRF pensions are being paid in the correct amount to the proper recipients.

If you are age 85 or older as of March 31 or are residing outside of Alberta, and if the guarantee period for your pension has expired, you will receive a request from our office to sign and return a form to confirm you are receiving the correct pension. This will occur in early April. Failure to return the signed confirmation form will result in suspension of your pension, starting in June, until the form is received.
