ATRF has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Architect professional to join our team as Senior Data Architect.

ATRF has embarked on a multi-year project to modernize our processes, services, and technology in order to continuously meet our clients’ expectations. This extensive initiative includes modernizing ATRF’s employer and member portal systems and implementing a pension administration system. The Senior Data Architect will play a pivotal role in these projects with a strong focus on the development, implementation, and maintenance of the data architectures required as well as defining the corresponding data flow strategies for the system modernizations.

Reporting to the Director, Application Development, the Senior Data Architect is a strategic partner in defining the data architecture and strategy across the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that data is effectively structured, stored, and utilized to support business objectives. Leveraging expertise in data analytics, database administration, business analysis, business intelligence, software development, research and development, security, and technical support, the Senior Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions.

ATRF is looking for a passionate, high-achieving IT professional with significant experience managing and analyzing datasets within a large vendor database management platform, preferably with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments on the Microsoft Azure platform. Domain expertise in pension-related data will be considered a significant asset. Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, along with interpersonal aptitude are imperative in order to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
