Changes to the Pension Application Form

March 31, 2023

In our quest to continually provide members with the best service and experience, ATRF is simplifying the Pension Application form and process. Effective April 1, 2023, we have combined the Spousal/Pension Partner Status Declaration with the Pension Application form and you will no longer be required to declare your pension partner status before a Commissioner for Oaths/Notary Public.

If you have already filled out an older version of the Pension Application form, we will still accept it, but please also fill out and submit the Spousal/Pension Partner Status Declaration form, although you won’t need it signed by a Commissioner for Oaths/Notary Public. Alternatively, you can submit the updated Pension Application form.

To verify whether you are using the most recent form, look at the bottom of the application to verify the date is 2023/04 or later.

Starting September 1, 2023, ATRF will only accept the new Pension Application form, which can be found on atrf.com, or you can also apply online through MyPension. When you apply through MyPension, your pension option selection package will be available online which saves time in comparison to waiting for delivery by mail. Applying online is also a great way to be more environmentally conscious.
