Education Week 2026

Education Week is a meaningful opportunity to recognize the dedication, professionalism, and lasting impact of Alberta’s teachers. At ATRF, we are proud to mark Education Week 2026 and to celebrate the educators—and the wider school communities—who help students thrive across the province.

More than a celebration of teachers, this week recognizes how teachers spark curiosity, students inspire growth, and school staff, volunteers, and families work together to create welcoming places where children truly flourish. Learning is a shared effort, strengthened by collaboration, care, and a deep commitment to student success.

At ATRF, we are honoured to support teachers throughout their careers and into retirement by administering the pension that reflects their years of dedication and service. Education Week is also a time to say thank you to new teachers beginning their journey, to experienced educators leading and mentoring others, and to retired teachers whose legacy continues to make a difference.
