ATRF has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and service focused individual to join our Pension Services team as Pension Operations Assistant in our office in Edmonton. Reporting to the Team Lead, Data & Employer Services, this position plays an important role in delivering timely, accurate, and courteous service to our plan members by supporting effective processing of member information and communications.
The Pension Operations Assistant provides essential administrative and member support by managing incoming communications and ensuring accurate and timely processing of information. This role is responsible for scanning and indexing incoming member correspondence, initiating appropriate workflows, and maintaining up-to-date and accurate member records. The Pension Operations Assistant also prepares and distributes requested forms and statements, manages returned mail, and provides administrative support to members and internal team members, contributing to a positive, efficient, and service focused member experience.
This role requires someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, while managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Well-developed organizational and time-management skills along with the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications, Experience, and Capabilities
- High school diploma
- Additional certification (i.e. administrative certificate) or completion of relevant post-secondary coursework is considered an asset
- Minimum of two years of related experience in an administrative or office environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with standard office software, with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, including proficient data entry skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with adaptability in a fast-paced office environment and recommend improvements.
