ATRF has an exciting opportunity for an experienced communications leader who thrives on fostering strong and meaningful working relationships to join our team as the Director, Communications & Stakeholder Relations. This role is instrumental in ensuring that ATRF’s communications strategies align with and advance our operational and strategic goals.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position is responsible for maintaining an effective stakeholder relations strategy that supports ATRF’s imperatives of building trust and credibility with stakeholders, ultimately earning the position of a trusted partner. The Director leads and implements comprehensive communication strategies that enhance awareness and strengthen the ATRF brand, and is responsible to oversee, coordinate and manage the planning, development and production of communications materials that support organizational initiatives. Additionally, this position will lead and mentor the Communications team.

ATRF is looking for a passionate, high-performing communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications, specifically leading strategic communications planning processes, and advanced stakeholder relations experience. A strong knowledge of communications tools, tactics and best practices, and knowledge of Alberta pension sector will support success in the role. Strong interpersonal aptitude is imperative to work collaboratively with stakeholders both internally and externally to the organization.
